The Dynamo pull into a second place tie with Arabe Unido in Group A with a 5-1 win. Houston, now two points behind Pachuca, owns the tiebreaker advantage over Arabe Unido on goal differential.
Stuart Holden scored two goals, which were the Dynamo's final two in the match, to seal the win. Houston outshot Arabe 16-6 in the match.
