The week actually got started on Wednesday, as the Colorado Rapids and San Jose Earthquakes played to another 1-1 draw at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
The highlight match of the weekend is the Los Angeles Galaxy facing off against the Columbus Crew at Crew Stadium on Saturday. The Galaxy (are two points behind the Crew and the Houston Dynamo for first place in the playoff standigs.
The Galaxy though might be shorthanded for this crucial matchup, as late word has surfaced that David Beckham did not travel with the team to Columbus, staying behind to treat an injury, and could miss the match altogether.
