Second half highlights
The Galaxy sealed the match in the 83rd minute, as Beckham crossed a ball to Landon Donovan in the box and Donovan touched the ball to Buddle, who beat Stefan Frei to the left post.
Toronto had one good chance at the start of the second half. Chad Barrett collected a loose ball, led a break for goal and fed a ball to Ali Gerba. Gerba shot over Ricketts, but was foiled by the crossbar.
Buddle had two good looks prior to his goal, but both of them went over the crossbar.
Beckham got into a scrum with Amado Guevara, resulting in yellow cards for both, then narrowly missed another chance for a brace, as his shot attempt in the 80th minute went wide left, though not by much.
